Reynolda Road is one of Winston-Salem’s most recognizable corridors, and the homes along it are worth doing right. This full renovation stayed inside the existing footprint but reworked nearly every visible surface — proof of what’s possible when you invest in a home’s interior without chasing the complexity (and cost) of an addition.

The finish choices lean classic rather than trendy: white board-and-batten paneling in the living room, the brick fireplace painted white, a kitchen in white shaker cabinets with quartz counters and subway tile, and a bath finished in brushed-gold fixtures. The sunroom’s wall of white-framed windows was kept and celebrated — original character doing exactly what it should.
